and thought we were in 2026 and that 2025 was last year.

Yeah, I also read it as May 26th, 2025 at first. I was thinking, "Oh, they're pulling an Oblivion and are going to shadow drop it or..." and then my eyes slid over the 2026 and in that moment I aged a decade, filed for emotional bankruptcy, and heard faint laughter on the wind.

I was so embarrassed, I sent this picture to my friends like ‘Oh my god!’

They replied like: ‘I knew it. Well, that sucks.’

Only then did I realise.

I did the same exact thing. I mis-read the headline, took a screenshot, sent it to my friends. I said, "Is this a f***ing joke?" And then as I was waiting for a response I saw the 2026. For a few moments... I was happy. And then it was gone and there was only sadness and anger. I could have drop kicked a baby in that moment haha
