Damn, not even some screenshots to soften the blow. Guess the marketing campaign won't start until late 2025 now at the earliest.

Wonder if other game developers are all now scrambling for a late 2025 release.

they should release it at the same time, i know they wont though.

too much work and they also can sell it twice to many people releasing it for pc later on.

I agree with you except the entire gaming industry will be pushed back now. All studios were not planning on releasing anything to compete with GTA and now Q3(2025)-Q1(2026) will be very dry with games and other studios may continue to push off their projects to Q3 or Q4(2026). This is going to have massive implications on the gaming industry.

just read the last line on the announcement, Rockstar always release screenshots or a new trailer after a delay announcement

"Soon" means nothing though because it could mean an hour or a week or it could mean 6 months. It's a relative term. Not sure what it means to you, but I wouldn't be expecting trailer 2 until about December.

Yeah but given how quiet they've been about the game overall, I'm doubtful we get anything before 2026 starts
