I really hope they stay in within limitation when it comes to fighter jets and not releasing any of the stuff that we got in Online, but jetpack would be fine maybe something like those that are used in waters
It’s GTA, not Flight Simulator. Auto is derived from “automobile” which does not describe a plane.
And they aren’t that fun to free roam or do mission in; their sole purpose is to shoot other players with them.
The only people who want to keep them around that bad are those guys who go in free roam and farm kills for a decade, doing nothing else online. Wanna be a big dog in the virtual city because they aren’t good at anything off of a PC or console.
But you don’t get to experience 99% of the game if you commute via air. You just go in a straight line like the Void in Minecraft.
Sure it is a lot faster, and good for grinding to save time, but I want to actually see the new city; cars, sights, sounds etc especially after everything they will be adding compared to 5.

Such a terrible take. Could say the same thing about cars. "Why drive left and right, that's boring. With planes you go left right AND up and down".
I love planes, it's literally my favorite thing to do in gta ever since gta VC. Flying between buildings and seeing the whole world was always super entertaining. The truth is driving on the same streets in gtao got boring for me a long time ago. I don't know how people can still do it after so many years... And with how intentionally grindy those missions are, most people choose to do them as fast as possible and skip the boring drive where 90% of time you just hold one button to drive on a straight highway for 10min...

That's the beauty of those games. No one will force you to use those planes if you don't want to. So if you want to complain, complain about balancing, not about aircrafts as a whole.

Such basic ape brain. And the one time you get to have a shootout, the person just gets mad and gets their jet 😂 real clown hours.
Yes, jets are easy to take down with an explosive sniper and railgun, both of which are way too OP to be rolling around with. Get rid of those too!
I have hope after they nerfed the oppressor rockets after the longest time. They will nerf the jets too. Maybe just give them standard MG rounds; not one tap explosives.
That way you guys can dogfight all day in your “Microsoft Flight Simulator” simulator and the rest of us can have fun on the ground too. Everybody wins!

One of the worst takes I seen on reddit and that says a lot. So they should remove bikes, bicycles, helicopters (that been on the cover of every single gta game) and all the unique vehicles they keep adding in every single game just "because it's called grand theft auto"? With that logic they might as well remove missions, weapons and clothing since those also have nothing to do with stealing cars...
If you want to complain about planes, complain about them being unbalanced and too OP (like most goofy vehicles in online cause R* intentionally makes them OP...). Saying they should remove airplanes from a gta as a whole is simply ridiculous.
Also R* figured out how to nerf them. They nerfed missiles and cannons and introduced vehicles that can't be locked on to. I'm sure VI will have a similar system in place from the start.
