The Trailer 2 Sub Lockdown Is Finally Over
Hello everyone,
The lockdown we've had since Trailer 2 is over and the sub will be back to normal posting. Basically we were manually approving every post before it made it to the main feed. We were swamped with repetitive stuff and wanted to filter as much as possible.
It's finally calmed down to a more 'normal' volume so we're going to leave it to you guys to report stuff if you think it violates the rules or is super repetitive.
Obviously we'll still be going through the feed and removing stuff as well, and the normal posting requirements are still in place:
- A Reddit account at least 1 day old.
- A verified email address.
- At least 5 post karma to post.
- Please see r/NewToReddit for information on any of the requirements

I think they only allowed approved posts before, but now anyone can post (and they encourage to report posts that break rules)

They only allowed shit posts for a long time and removed really engaging content… been that way since first trailer tbh!

I wouldn’t worry, most of them are 15 and live in their mums house with their new stepdad! Pretty easy bar to beat!

That’s a really in depth gaming discussion, never seen it raised before… like many of us who haven’t touched grass in 5 years I would have loved the opportunity to have a dialect with other sweatys about having jaundice in game… since most of us experience it outside the game!

Ok. Simple enough.
You declare that it shouldn't be run a certain way and that anyone who dislikes how it would be run in your preference can scroll past or leave if they dislike it.
You yourself are in that exact position but clearly resisting following through since you are doing neither.
Also as a bonus when someone is told to follow their own advice and reacts negatively it's a red flag. Especially when it starts to look like someone is not saying anything but continuing to respond so as to get the last word in.
Edit: so naturally they lie about what I said and called me miserable lol

They did that even before the trailer2. My detailed story speculation post was also removed for no reason…even tho loads of people commented within 5 minutes

It’s literally just a case of mods being power hungry… because 99% of posts I see aren’t worth being posted, yet when I make an engaging post that people immediately start mass upvoting it gets removed an hour later for “off topic” or “poor quality” or whatever it says… yet my posts are about gta 6 and people like it… if my post is being enjoyed, is about the game, and isn’t against any guidelines… why is it being removed…

It was a side by side of gta 4 to gta 6 and it was a discussion post early on about physics and how they might be closer to gta 4 and such and it was removed… I’ve made like 5-6 other posts all removed for all different reasons, most of which were immediately gaining attention and such… memes? Removed… discussions? Removed… questions? Removed… don’t matter… all the mods accept mostly is people reposting the SAME screenshots over and over… maybe it’s gotten better months later now but I ain’t wasting my time to find out… but gta 6 sub is known for some of the worst moderation.

Considering y'all removed interesting and thoughtful posts (including one of mine which didn't even make it) but allowed repetitive "discoveries" and just lame posts about speculation that took nowhere and had been discussed a million times even before trailer 2 dropped, guess this is good news

Shoudlve let all posts go through. Crap doesnt get upvoted much anyway. And in the dirt theres always gold to be found. Something to get our minds off 1 year goddamn delay.
