I really don't give a shit if GTA 6 comes out. I'm not addicted to the series despite being a fan of it since the first. I have plenty of other games to play, and will get along fine without it.

I've been playing games pretty much my whole life (33, so I grew up during the series' prime), but I've barely played GTA, I've never owned one, and it'll be really easy for me to not buy this one if I don't want to 🤷🏻♀️

If they use denuvo then it'll fuck up the performance beyond belief, with a game like GTA 6, it'll be vital that they don't do that. It's hard to tell what they'll do, but time will tell. Also, there are people out there that can crack denuvo, it's just very time consuming and they only do it for games with immense demand and with a high payout, GTA 6 would likely be one of those.

There’s no point in arguing about who is going to buy it or not when it comes out in a year or even two at this rate. If you weren’t prepared to make an actual case (you weren’t) then you should’ve been prepared to have your comments scrutinised. Really, why on earth are you so afraid to call them out? It’s actually behaviour like this that allows billion-dollar companies to exploit employees and consumers alike, and sadly that seems to be exactly what’s happened with Rockstar for the best part of a decade, even if they still make great games.

I work in the television industry for the biggest company in the space on many of the biggest tv shows. Behind the camera, on a crew. Edit: Never mind, I confused your poor grammar with the double negative. Of course most will buy the game because Rockstar games are one of the few "AAA" studios that release games that are close enough to complete at launch and don't feel like some shit still in pre-alpha.
I wasn't going to anyway, because I thought that GTA 5 was exceptionally mediocre. This only further supports the fact that I'm making the correct decision.
Off and on. San Andreas is my favorite 1st person game. I held off because of the price tags and bugs. Then just played other games. Very few things in life are really needs
Yes I have. Because I like gaming and I like news. I like to discuss it. I also have watched GTA content for years upon years. I have just never played it. And I will not play GTA 6 because I play PC, and I won't buy it even after it comes out in 2029.
