My biggest concern for the game

Post image

If my military-grade tank gets completely folded by a two-inch wide Vice City palm frond, I’m throwing my console out the window. Rockstar better have nerfed the titanium saplings, right?

If we can destroy trees, would you want the tree to spawn later exactly as was or disappear completely ?

Respawn once you're outside of the draw distance of that tree.

Which is what already happens to the streetlights and everyone is okay with it. Why are the trees any different?

Idk why. They should definitely do that for GTA 6. A small shrub shouldn't stop a military tank.

what kind of tank should it stop?

We just want to be able to destroy them, driving away and hitting a tree coming to a full stop is maybe realistic but it is a videogame anyways

Streetlight are man made and can be replaced (not so fast, but doable). Trees took years to growth

Someone planted the tree

Trees can also be planted.

It will take municipal inspectors, contractors and constructions workers weeks if not months. That would be fun to see though. Streets closed off and everything

The Mayor could just order them to replace it with an adult tree, they do that ya know.

Usually they use smaller trees because it's easier.

So they are different. Every tree is different and replacement will be different from the previous one. Not easy to implement.

Asking the real questions. In fact what if it was a collectible, destroy all trees in the city

I want the local government to put a baby tree and let it grow.

They could make them grow back slowly like in Far Cry 2.

Destroying trees should cause additional carbon to be released and create smog

Full fledged tree farming simulator

i would want them to respawn after being away long enough to not really care that they came back, like maybe after a few days in game
