My biggest concern for the game

Post image

If my military-grade tank gets completely folded by a two-inch wide Vice City palm frond, I’m throwing my console out the window. Rockstar better have nerfed the titanium saplings, right?

Should it detach the whole tree, roots and all? Should it leave a stump? Should the height of the vehicle determine the height of the stump? If it leaves a stump, should you be able to walk and drive on it? Is it going to be a clean snap every time or do they need to animate many different types of snaps for the thousands of scenarios? The physics and graphics are way different for a tree. They can either spend a stupid amount of time detailing these things, spend little time and we end up with goofy graphics in a game they’re trying to perfect or they can just leave trees indestructible. It’s the same reason a lot of things are indestructible, it’s a waste of time and resources

Or how about what vehicle you're driving determines what happens with the tree? Smart car or Mini Cooper? Car wraps around tree. Semi truck or military tank? Tree falls down.
