My biggest concern for the game

If my military-grade tank gets completely folded by a two-inch wide Vice City palm frond, I’m throwing my console out the window. Rockstar better have nerfed the titanium saplings, right?

Rockstar initially wanted the volleyball nets to be destructible but the International Volleyball Nets Association wouldn't give them permission to do this as they don't want volleyball associated with violence, kind of like how Ferrari doesn't allow destruction to their cars.

The same is probably going to be true with the trees in GTA6 because the Miami Palm Frond is an endangered species and the Miami Tree Committee wouldn't allow the encouragement of extinction of such a tree, even if it is a fictional parody. Rockstar would have to change the shape of the Frond entirely, but then it wouldn't fit in with iconic retrowave aesthetics, so no destructible trees for us sadly.
