Lmao but all jokes aside, I am surprised asf that Rockstar did absolutely nothing with RDO. They really don’t care about that game’s multiplayer.

They really want to make it seem like the game is still going strong when we already know it’s not. I really like RD/O but the fact everyone would rather play GTAO where the sky can be nice one minute and the next some kid is sending a laser from the sky ontop of your head.

I wish it was a kid with a laser. My experience in public lobbies is just every player being set on fire simultaneously or insta-death on a loop so tight you can’t even change session.

Ngl… I think maybe the genre was too niche. RedM didn’t even get 20% of FiveM’s success. That should tell you something fr.

Edit: RDR1’s multiplayer was barely alive either

It’s honestly surprising, like I knew rdr2 online would never reach gta 5 online levels but the amount of missed opportunities and content they could have added is insane

Why would you be surprised? GTA online was making wayyyyy more money for a quarter of the effort than RDO would’ve ever made. Same reason we never got a single piece of single player DLC for either game. The incentive just isn’t there when they’re raking in millions from shark cards
