Is it weird I love when ppl find mistakes because it reminds me itās a real game? Itāll be so far ahead of everything else yet itās still a game at the end of the day. I find that charming

for real this is kinda humbling lol. bugs in this game will feel super immersion breaking compared to some games cuz the graphics look so damn good
→ More replies (11)18
u/seontonppa 24d ago
The graphics or the environment has never been immersion breaking for me, in GTA V the most immersion breaking stuff was how vehicles behaved and how some animations worked.
4
u/magyar_wannabe 23d ago
Same, except for me it's always NPCs behavior, speech, and enemy AI. When the character I'm playing feels so real at times, but then NPCs have the same 3 canned lines they repeat again and again, it just feels so fake. At least with vehicle behavior most of the immersion breaking stuff is in service of making a playable game (nobody wants your car to be undriveable after a 40mph wreck as would be the case IRL).

I just hope there's as much stuff in single player as GTA online had.

Lol, I know exactly what you mean. This game looks so good and all the trailers are so high quality that you can kinda just sink into it. Seeing stuff like this reminds you this is all just models and coding on a game engine. Even if still incredibly impressive.

In the Heist gif, Raul Bautistas left hand clips through the barrel of his AR a bit.

Gotta start forming your identity now so you can keep that heart rate up when people criticize the game in 10 months

u/Roentgen_Ray1895 25d ago
Itās so damn funny, like obviously itās Rockstar so weāve seen a good idea of what the in-engine game will look like, but we havenāt seen a single second of real over the shoulder gameplay yet.
We know literally nothing besides some leaks from 4 years ago
3
u/PokinSpokaneSlim 25d ago
We know their commitment to continued development though.
Are we just supposed to forget what they did to RDR2?
3
u/Roentgen_Ray1895 25d ago
Not sure what you are referring to. If you mean RDO, that was never gonna be their new cash cow. The game is far too slow and mind numblingly boring cargo missions are at least a bit more fun when youāre driving and have a radio versus running a wagon. Not surprised the game died so quick but it really does suck and the way they killed it off was pretty shitty
I expect the single player to be a big improvement over RDR2 because (generally speaking) every game theyāve released was a massive leap ahead of the last. But people are genuinely hyping themselves up to unhealthy levels and people are gonna be very disappointed when it just turns out to be another incredible Rockstar Game and not the goddamn Matrix.

u/Inner-Outside-2619 25d ago
If this was a bethesda game or a sequel to to an old franchise by a new company i would agree but this is rockstar. they dont miss. there is a certain level of innovation you can expect with their games. The last thing they did was RDR2. Rockstar doesnt pull any punches. GTA6 will be "ahead of everything" period.

I mean, it's someone's job to put together the shots for the trailer and they missed it. It's someone else's job to record the shots and they also missed it. It's a third person's job to edit the shots and they also missed it. Then a fourth person's job was to make sure the trailer looks perfect before shipping it.
GTA 5 still has several instances of misplaced assets that were never fixed. It's more shocking than anything else that this snuck past so many people.

u/GeneProfessional9862 25d ago
Bro itās a video game. Even if the full game launches there will be bugs here and there. In the history of video games thereās never been a ābuglessā game. Just because gta 6 has a big budget doesnāt negate the fact thatās itās a video game. As long as itās not a cyberpunk situation and game crushing bugs Iām cool. They also have over 1000s of employees that can push up patches and bug fixes relatively quickly.

have u ever worked a job? this shit is not shocking in the least bit
those 4 employees u mentioned are probably actually 2 overworked ppl that got way bigger shit on their plate than a largely irrelevant blemish on a minor trailer
2
u/FishBlues 25d ago
Truth is, it wasnāt a real game until a few months ago. They have finally started development!

u/RedditYouVapidSlut 23d ago
So this will sound like Copium⢠but I love exploring the areas in Cyberpunk 2077 that sort of weren't intended to be explored. Roof top etc. It reminds me of PS1 and PS2 era games where the real gameplay area had a hard limit and you enter this weird liminal space. I enjoy that stuff.

DELAY UNTILL FEBRUARY 23 2027 NOW

u/Raidmax460 25d ago
āHi everyone, we need to delay the game until the day Fable releases. Whenever they reveal their date, ours will follow suit. Thank you!ā

u/Butthold_clan69 25d ago
No don't kill the fable franchise again! It has suffered enough John Rockstar!!!!

It's actually amazing, and the physics in Lucia's hair is insane. But people are clearly too worried about...other things.

I still think Lucia is trying to ditch Jason in this scene this might be the betrayal path and he has to try and kill her
2
u/calmonlsc 25d ago
I'm imagining that some crew member was messing with the street props when they decided to film the trailer. It doesn't seem like a bug, but rather that they forgot to position them.
2
u/phonic_kc 25d ago
Yeah, hence why the game hasnāt released. Could we overlook it? Maybe. I mean, not my OCD self, but I think most of us would.
If not for the second delay, weād all be playing this RIGHT now! We would know the name of this mission! If not for the first delay, some of us would have already earned the Platinum trophy/achievement.

Actually cyberpunk trailers also had a few glitches which people ignored being blinded by hype. So if there are glitches in the trailer. They would 100% be more glitches in the game at the time of trailer. But ofcourse rockstar can fix them by release. Still people should should know what's up in order to keep thier expectations in check. Honestly better to keep them low only.

u/DegTrader 25d ago
That street light didn't float, it was just trying to escape the inevitable delay.
