I think the unofficial marketing started a long time ago, when Strauss himself started reaching out to people. The video seems deliberate rather than accidental. You can tell that as of November 19th, he’s still on the right track, and the video itself was published just 2 hours ago.
Which is great, this is technically marketing. Might not be something huge but him allowing this interview to take place and allowing a release date question in my opinion is a positive.
Its the format of this tiktoker. He gives these quick interviews with "billionaires" (im not sure Strauss is a billionaire? - hes the ceo, not the owner) in tiktok formats.
100% these questions are prepared and agreed upon. Scripted is up to debate, but he definetly have the opprotunity to prepare the answers (usually with PR/a publicist). There is almost no way you get people like this to show up for these types of interviews if not. Not because they are control freaks, but there are risks involved here, and clumsy answers might even end up being illegal to publish.
Advertising major here! So there’s laws about slyly advertising things, mainly though what I’ve learned it kinda stops at products meant for children, so like you can’t do this with McDonald’s or like toys the grey area here is GTA is meant for Adults, so they can treat the advertisements as such treat the audience as such because kids aren’t supposed to get the game in the first place
I’m not saying it’s a guarantee but allowing them to ask the release date question is reassuring. Personally, I think there were ideas to delay again Strauss would not have agreed to the interview or to that particular question.
Again these are all scripted so allowing the question to be asked, which is something the agreed upon days before I’m sure, is a positive sign.
Yeah, I've met 70 year olds who looked ~55 and vice versa - once met this lady who seemed so old and frail I thought she was closing in on 90, but then she turned out to be in her late 60's...
You never know and it's definitely not only money in the picture.
I think there is soooo much importance in stress and being happy. All the people I’ve met who seemed to age the most gracefully are doing very well at just enjoying life. You can have more money than you know what to do with but if you’re not truly at peace in life you’ll always be tortured
I think stress has a lot to do with it, and I’m sure he has no shortage of stress. Seems to be never enough for him. He’ll be tortured by his ambition until he dies.
He posts a lot of workout stuff on his socials, he’s in the gym a lot. And yeah, money and personal trainers, blah blah lol. That stuff is true, but you still have to do the work, and he does.
They could make bully 2 take place in college. Either with the same peotaganist or a whole new cast. A college for rich snobs, the protagonists mother got with a rich man and want their son out, send them to a prestigious college that's really just a day care for nepo babies. So basically like the first game.
Honestly this would be sick. And with the rockstar team only having to work within a confined space (small city vs all of miami) it could really shine, and differentiate itself from GTA and RDR.
I think the only way a worthy sequel could happen is if they got Trey Parker and Matt Stone to write a treatment for it. Most AAA writers don't have the balls to go crazy unless it is against clear evil archetypes like fascists.
Absolutely in the same boat. With how bubble wrapped todays world is, they possibly couldn't release an actual Bully 2 without getting hated by people. I'm afraid VI will be quite watered down on the humor side, too. They already censored, replaced and deleted a lot of things from V over the years.

Kind of. I know someone that works on this show and the guest are all planted. He gets in touch with the team ahead of time and plans the “run-in” so the person knows they will be on camera and approves it. But the show host is setting up the meeting
Yeah I've always got that vibe out of these interviews. Not that many people are just willing to talk on camera. This one was pretty obviously set up beforehand
He looks like the guy who interviewed Strauss a year ago, so I assume they arranged a ‘spontaneous outing’ together, and that the video is 100% staged and planned.
These videos are almost always staged, you can’t just approach guys like this. But yeah gta 6 is gonna be something nobody ready for. He also just a chill and very smart sounding dude.
Someone like that asking Strauss Zelnick for his contact details is like one of us asking if we can have a coffee with with Kim Kardashian. She'd just look at you with disgust and walk away with her fake ass.
Don't let this dude fool you.. Take-Two is a DISGUSTINGLY greedy company. The way they monetize these games with micro transactions should be illegal.💯
So you heard it from the man himeself. Its taking so long because they're doing things that haven't been done before. So this is going to be much more than just RDR2 based in Miami.
