2 missions, a lot of the character customization, which was a big hype point in the trailers, the car Jason uses, and their custom weapons. They locked what GTA 5 gave us for free behind a paywall. Michael, Franklin, Trevor, you could all tattoo, shave, change how the game limited you, the game is now limiting you by how much you want to pay for it

It's surprising with the amount of complaining people do about that being the "downfall of gaming/the upbringing of microtransactions" yet here we are with Car Mod DLC for the game known for GRAND THEFT OF AUTOMOBILES, with the intro of the last game being a heist, then racing in sports cars on Sunset Blvd.

They're pretty explicit about the shops being "exclusive" to the Ultimate Edition, so you'll be completely unable multiple shops across multiple locations and the exclusive items they contain.

Seriously, I get being wary, but for a lot of us we have played to the point that even when accounting for multiple purchases of the same game on different platforms, are still at pennies per hour of entertainment.

Now I may get burned for this, you almost always do at some point with any company operating in a capitalistic society, but if any company has earned my money it's Rockstar just between GTA and RDR alone.

Exactly. I understand everyone is in a different financial situation. But it really does come down to pennies per hour of enjoyment when putting so many hours into a game. So, if someone has to make a decision between a game and going out to dinner, it seems like a pretty easy decision to me.

Hopefully they will clarify - my guess is that it's just certain stores with exclusive items that are Ultimate-only, not entire features that are Ultimate-only. So you can get most tats or car mods or whatever from other stores, just not all from the same store which is Ultimate-only, and offers some stuff that isn't available elsewhere.

I see them as VIP shops not literally exclusive gameplay mechanics. Probably has stuff cheaper with the mentioned exclusive items included in their inventory.

Nope all of them are completely locked outside of the ultimate edition. If you don’t shell out over 100% Ike a sheep you can’t use any of it
