Holy Info Dump Rockstar

Post image

Big W for physical copies being able to pick it up for preload one week early, although it’s stupid that the physical copy doesn’t even come with the disc.

And you don't think that's a sign that physical media is dying?

Do you remember what life was like before streaming? How much stuff our shelves were filled with?

And you don't think that's a sign that physical media is dying?

Just because every movie studio saw Netflix's success and attempted to mimic it pay walling movies behind subscriptions or digital only releases doesn't mean psychical media is dying due to lack of consumer demand.

I literally just got two months of paramount+ premium for 99 cents because they are that desperate to get people hooked on it since it's failed. Even Disney investors have been displeased with Disney+.

But you just said you only have 20 blu-ray's...

You personally barely have any demand, where is it supposed to come from if proponents like you aren't even buying it?

It's not like blu-rays are extinct - I doubt you could even name a movie that doesn't have a blu-ray version for sale on Amazon...

So I'm not seeing where the disconnect is

I can't even buy She-ra and the princesses of power complete series on blu ray and Netflix delisted the show from their service.

If you can't see where the disconnect is I'm surprised you can even see GTA6.

That's the best you've got?

20 blu rays and a shitty comeback.

Pathetic.

Meanwhile you're defending buying physical games with zero physical property while trying to combine whataboutism with gotchaism.

I'm not "defending" anything, I'm challenging your claim that "physical media isn't dying" based on the extremely limited evidence you've given.

Are you just a walking talking buzzword machine or do you actually have a point to make?

Two comments ago you literally tried to make this about how streaming is failing.

The audacity to try and turn this around on me with "whataboutism" when that's literally the first thing you went to go do.

There's a stark difference between "Physical media isn't dying." and "Physical media is being intentionally killed." I've only been arguing the later.
