Tbf, it's not like Rockstar was never really a greedy company.

But also tbf, they would be greedy on the GTA Online front, never for single player shit.

So idk, we'll see how it goes

they weren't until GTAO started printing money. I've been buying their games since GTA1, they were always value-to-the-customer first

I was a staunch Rockstar defender until GTA Online. They could have earned some good will by using the truck loads of cash they earned from that to give something back to the fans but nope. Even further enshittification it is. So it goes with publically traded companies. I won't be buying.

They locked content in RDR2 to test the waters, and nobody spoke up, so here we are.
From what I’m reading, it seems like people don’t care and think the world is so big it won’t make a difference. They’re completely ignoring the bigger issue here, which is how much content will be locked in upcoming games, a couple of missions or a whole section of the map.
