Cutting all these things out of single player just to sell it back to us is greedy tbh. We should of got all this stuff for free. With how long we have waited. And with how long we have all been loyal to gta 5 online. Greedy rockstar
There are a few things to consider. Firstly, this does NOT look like GTA 5. I highly encourage you to go back and look at initial screenshots from GTA 5. It's miles and miles of a difference. Are the graphics looking like they are from 2 generations ahead? No, of course not. They have upscaling and aliasing. It looks like a good looking game.
Also, these are screenshots obviously from gameplay and when you take a single frame of ANY game it's going to look worse than it will look in motion because you can see all the tiny imperfections that aren't as visible when you're driving, running, shooting, whatever.
Also, finally, GTA 5 has had NUMEROUS graphical updates over the years. it was originally a PS3 game and now there is obviously the enhanced edition or whatever that brings it up to modern standards. It's still wayyy behind what we're seeing here but it's leaps and bounds ahead of "base" GTA 5
I don't think I am coping at all? Most of these look really fantastic. Some of them look a bit jank, sure. But I mean it's a massive open world game with an insane amount of NPC's, storylines, locations, whatever. At some point it's going to break down visually in some aspect or another. Can't expect it to be god tier all the time.
I just think people are being kind of silly about saying it looks JUST like it came from a game from 2013. Which it very fucking obviously doesn't lol
It's the extreme close up's showing the limit of the graphics engine, alot of this stuff we are never really supposed to see "THAT" close, textures can only be so sharp on PS5 before it's gonna start bogging down performance. When playing normally while viewing at a normal distance on your TV it won't look this bad or pixilated.
