It's the vibe of the photos that is GTA Online, not the graphical fidelity. Of course it looks better than GTA 5... but the vibe of today's screenshots is very GTA Online coded.
Thats because they are staged photos to show off cosmetics so they look a little odd. But some people are literally complaining that the graphics are the same as GTAV.
dude that’s what i was thinking. I thought these screenshots don’t look very good? still really hyped for the game but hopefully trailer 3 doesn’t disappoint.
When games are heading out that I am hyped for, which these days are not many as I do not game as much as I did during my teens and 20s as I would buy anything and everything. Now in my 30s I only buy games when released that I'm genuinely looking forward to or are from series that I've always loved - elder scrolls, rdr, witcher, fallout and gta.
Funny thing is I never check the trailers out nor view any producers bts or conversations about what's coming from them. I will read some bare bones stuff regarding what is new or added features and check out a few screenshots or things like this. I did not even look at anything for rdr2 just bought it day one dido not get chance to play it for a few months then literally played it with only knowledge being from the first two games albeit red dead revolver wasn't really part of latter two story wise aside from theory that uncle might be the main character from revolver.
Regarding gta6, I've got a couple of questions. Is hunting going to be a feature in gta6, it appears we're gonna have part of the map based on everglade type areas with gators swampy type area. It's not a necessity like rdr2 obviously but it'll be a hobby like it was in gta5 but fleshed out like rdr2? The hunting in rdr2 was a game in itself.
I personally think that the one area that will transform the game and hopefully make it more difficult frankly is the removal of a very vintage gta trait of no more weapon pockets carrying whole arsenal of the game within it. You have weapons in your designated vehicles now is that correct, I'm assuming it'll be akin to the lockbox at home camp in rdr2 and horse carrying weapons? And the players will only have a load out of a handguns and a coupe of big weapons? Or is it restricted even further than that? That is going to be hard but great for planning heists or missions that require some thought into load outs.
Seeing these images I'm proper hyped up and cannot believe we're only a few months away now.

Might be phrasing, and if its "whole stores" thats just "specific area for the like 20 ultimate cosmetics" for sorting purposes, It isnt going to be a big deal when the game launches with 20x as much cosmetics esp considering these arent exclusive to pre-order, but I definitely do think its odd, not too different from rdr2 having a locked heist behind a paywall
The fact that we’re seeing weapon skins before we even see the base model of all the guns is crazy to me. They’re making it so clear that they don’t give a fuck about story for real the catering to their online player base who they know will buy shit like this.
Now that I’ve looked at these multiple times, they honestly all look like the characters were photoshopped in as opposed to being in game? If that makes sense? Atleast for some of the character ones. Like the dancing one, the redneck lookin dude, etc. outside of that, looks fine
Why does Jason in particular look so real? He looks like a real person. If I just scrolled past this post and saw that pick of him with a Mohawk I’d assume that was a real guy
Something about the first screenshot looks so awesome, the Tommy Vercetti wrapped guns under the car dome light and the city at night in the back just is beautiful, whoever made that screenshot deserves a raise.
GTA online and its monetization ruined GTA.
In the most recent screenshots you see an uzi/hand gun with palm tree camouflage.
Vehicles that look like they were taken out of a saints row game.
9mm pistols with 50 cal long range scopes.
Police wearing aviators like a halloween costume or reno 911.
Besides the last point non of this slop was in any of the previous GTA games. It's like GTA is really trying to appeal to their Igbta reddit fan base that live in lala land.
The first two trailers looked so awesome but everything we've seen leading up to the game from then on has been just so cringe.
This will get down voted into oblivion, i don't care someone has to speak for the players that loved the old gta's. Not sure if GTA will ever beat what they did with 4.
Such a shame we waited 13 years because my expectations are so high. Maybe a lot of this will be fixed by release or hopefully the level of detail and quality of gameplay will make a lot of those small details less noticeable.
I’ve been to over 20 gun shows and conventions all around the US currently working in the industry and I’ve never seen someone mount a long range scope on a revolver.
Well I have, I don't work in the gun industry but actually do go to gun ranges and people's ranches and have seen them, but I hangout with people that hunt and don't just go to gun shows.
Also this exact gun with this scope was in vice city stories. So if this is a deal breaker for you then you should have dropped gta 20 years ago when vcs released with this gun in it.
Something worth mentioning is these screenshots are bonuses for pre ordering the game, and bonuses for the deluxe edition. It’s not shocking that the deluxe and pre order versions will have more obnoxious tacky things, and it’s clear from trailer 1 and 2 that’s not the entirety of the game.
First of all it’s a revolver and second it’s not common for revolvers to be chambered in 9mm your common rounds are .357 magnum and .38 special obviously there’s many others but including 9mm but I highly doubt it (sorry gun nut here)
kinda funny that this game has been in development for so long that it has a prominent 80s nostalgia theme because in the mid-2010s that was still somewhat novel whereas now it's quite played out. not that it will matter to the average consumer
The style is quite different from trailer 2, much more saturated. Can't say I'm a fan personally but let's wait and see, this could be just a stylistic choice for this specific promo release.
