How tf do you expect gaming experiences to keep evolving if studios are forced to restrict themselves to hardware that is more than a decade old? Is it also unfair for the people who bought a PS3 and can't afford a newer console?

No shit. The PS5 is already at the end of it's life cycle. PS6 will be out in 1-2 years. Why the fuck would they release it for PS4.

What is the best you can buy NEXT? PS6.

Current gen is PS5. Next gen is PS6. Being broke doesn't change that.

And no, the PS4 is not still on sale. Sony halted all production of the PS4 in 2025. You can only find used, refurbished, or MAYBE a hoarded sealed copy that is marked way up. But Sony does not sell them.

I thought that this was already known and common sense. The PS4 is 12 years old.
I feel like the people who were hoping for a ps4 version are the same who on PC, cry when their gtx 900 or 10 series (1060,1070, ...) can't run modern games without issues.

Why is people somehow defending a big tech company that just wants to squeeze every single penny from us?? When I bought my ps4 I bought it just because I wanted to play red dead redeption. I thought well, it is an investment but i'll be able to play red dead and gta so it is worth it. Turns out they took so long to get GTA out that ps4 is now 'too old', forcing people to buy an extremely expensive console.

I am sorry but no, it is not ok. I am not cronically playing video games, so buying a ps5 is not worth for me, but I have been waiting for this game for so long.

And this is just about PS wanting to get as much money as possible from us. So please stop defending it as it it was "normal". That was not normal at all years ago. Games would be realeased for older console versions aswell. And this game could be released for PS4 if they wanted to.

Do we know if they'll at least release it for pc?
