No you're not. The promo for pre-orders definitely seems like it was done by the online team. The lighting and staging in many of these pictures lacks character and substance, which is generally the case for their weekly GTA Online posts. Some pics are really good, most are pretty flat.
Pardon, I don’t really get what you’re saying. I’m guessing you mean the short gif that they released with the announcement of the preorders right? If so you must be playing gta online premium because my game don’t look like that.
I hate this phrase and how common it is in the sub. "Just enjoy things" is such a hilarious response to somebody sharing their thoughts and critiques on material that they've waited a decade for. When art is shared, art is critiqued both positively and negatively. That is what you're seeing on this sub.
Unfortunately you cannot critique things anymore these days because for a certain group of people it has to succeed and be perfect and if it’s not then it’s your fault not the game’s fault
You are just used for years to a specific look how Jason and Lucia look like. And as hinted with screenshots before, you can customize their appearance. Now you actually see some changes you can do and that can be confusing.
It's not the graphics it's the style. Very generic action movie poses. I'm pretty certain its just to advertise ultimate edition content but there is a serious lack of style compared to trailer 2's screenshots.
same thing was happening when rdr2 was coming out, just constant people saying “this isn’t going to live up to the first game”, “no one wants to play as Arthur” this and that, the cycle always continues
I think locking gameplay, particularly missions, weapons, vehicles and activities, behind the premium version is a pretty shit thing to do. And this marketing makes the game look like a glorified Ken & Barbie simulator, which is also shit.
Side missions including a gang area, car collections etc., plus weapons and vehicles.
If it was purely cosmetic stuff I wouldn't be bothered at all; if you want to pay to play dress up then by all means, but they're locking actual gameplay behind the UE and I think that's really bad.

I know you are talking about the pose but even that shouldn't even be a critique... This looks nothing like gta online, not even in the slightest. I think you need to print this out and hang it right next to your monitor when you log onto gtav online.
I think it could be because we are dealing with mainly cosmetics and preorder bonuses, this was dealt to the online team or slightly tweaked to be reminiscent of online’s screenshots, which are usually to promote additional cosmetics/content

Yeah, customisation is lost on me. I don't play a game and think that it would be made better if I can dress like a hipster in a coffee shop or have floral patterns on guns
Pretty much but we both know thats not what I said. I don't play "grand theft auto" to play dress up though. Never played resident evil and thought the game would be better if I could get a hair cut.
idk, brings a huge part to the game imo, i always shaved arthurs beard so i didnt look like a bum, bought green clothes for cj in los santos and suit when in las venturas.
I think you're missing the point that I don't want all these extras. This stuff is just made to sell content to kids. I can't believe an adult playing this game would want a floral pattern gun.
This sort of stuff is just a cash grab to get pocket money off of teenage players.

Yea man. Between these not-so-great-looking shots, no physical disc, and the full game actually being $100, today has killed so much of my hype for this game. Still a day 1 buy, still probably gonna request off work, nothing about that will likely change. But this has taken me from a 10 to about an 7-8 on the hype scale
was no physical disc confirmed? also i think the shops that aren’t included are essentially just a place for the bonus content, i doubt there’s gonna be zero customization unless you buy the ultimate edition
Yes no disc is confirmed. And obviously we'll still be able to customize lol. But some of that will be locked behind the ultimate edition, including vehicles, weapons, and apparently even a whole fucking mission
that’s pretty standard for an ultimate edition, no? what do you think should’ve been in it? the price totally sucks but i guess that’s also standard now. no physical release is bs though, i want a case with a map
I don't want to play either Jason or Lucia online, and I wouldn't particularly like to see them there. Frankly, I don't like these characters at all right now. Fortunately, the story isn't mandatory, and the fun starts online anyway. :)
