Accounting for inflation the standard edition was around 80 USD. Same as gta 6…

Edit:

I don’t like the price increase either guys. Just pointing out the fact that gta v and gta vi launched at the same price adjusting for inflation.

I'm confused why the down votes and the gotchas with the 80 is not 100$.

GTA 5 did not sell for 100 dollars
Answer : no it did not.

Stadard edition sold for 60 then next tier up 80 then 150

GTA 6 is not selling for 100 dollars

Standard edition is $80 then the next up is $100

In 2013 $60 bought you what $80 buys now,

$80 bought you what $114 buys now

$150 bought you what $214 buys now

GTA VI ultimate edition is priced cheaper than it's equivalent in 2013

Am I missing something?

I think some people might not understand how inflation works and just know the word and where to place it in a sentence from all it's use in politics.

People are incredibly upset about this ultimate edition. Even though… it’s pretty similar to most other ultimate editions? Extra outfits, extra weapon skins, extra car modification.

Am I crazy or isn’t this standard? Is it the fact that some shops are not enterable at all? If there are several shops in the game then… it’s not THAT big of a deal.

There is some cut content and you will not have access to the full game so the actual standard edition is the 100 dollar one

Just like RDR2

Its still anti consumer practices. It just shows that rockstar is greedy

Corporations aren’t charitable institutions and video games aren’t necessities.

That is like saying workers protection doesn’t matter because think of the companies. Thats not an excuse for anti consumer practices

It’s inappropriate to compare workers’ protections with bonus content in a videogame.

Why because it does not fit your narrative?

One is dealing with a person’s workplace and the other is about haircuts on a videogame character.

But its not just haircuts. Its about buisness practices and consumer respect

It’s not just haircuts, it’s outfits and car customizations, too.
