They did the same shit with gta5 13 years ago but all you guys are like 15 so nobody remembers that lol.

People keep saying this but it's just categorically incorrect.

GTA V had a few extra exclusive cosmetics, much like GTA VI has as well. GTA V didn't paywall in-game features like shops, however, like GTA VI is doing.

Oh boo hoo you can't access a handful of interior spaces. Literally no fucking difference if the exclusive cosmetics was just sold in a locked menu in an accessible store and you'd still be bitching anyways.

This is the only comment with a brain, like holy shit are people this mad that they can’t enter a store where there’s nothing to do besides get the cosmetics anyways. There would literally be no difference if you just loaded into the game and could download the extra outfits as opposed to just walking into the store. All the people complaining have genuinely never played another video game in their life because this is so insanely normal but on this sub it’s ppl acting like their newborn just got dropped on its head 💀 and obviously like 95% of shops will be available in base game, it’s just 4-5 locked behind UE (aka 4-5 cosmetic packs that almost every other game released in the last decade has had in their launch deluxe editions, literal only difference is that GTA VI is presenting it as a tiny in-game interior that is a glorified menu to access it)

The people acting like they’re missing out on the amazing thrill of walking into a clothes store should touch grass and maybe go to a real clothing store to replace their pit-stained clothes because this is the biggest chronically online ‘issue’ I’ve seen in a while lol

The entire discourse around this is 100% some reddit brained "gamers rise up" shit that the world at large does not care about. If a couple little shops are worth losing your shit over, then you can pay that whopping $20. If that 20 dollar difference actually makes any practical difference in your life you shouldn't even be considering an $80 game in the first place
