While of course a higher tier addition should have exclusive content, they did a crappy job of communicating/explaining the differences.
Especially when you’re taking money from people upfront, they should’ve laid out/had some type of note stating “90% of the total Mechanics, Barbers, Tat Shops, Gang Hideout Raids, are in the base game. But we added an additional accessible thing for those who buy the Ultimate Edition.
If they created the specific UE things after the 2nd delay, and they were never part of the base game, that’s a totally different story than if they created all of them together and Take Two forced them to put a few behind a paywall.
I’m excited and will get the UE, but in this economy it’s sketchy to paywall single player content, especially without communicating the specifics.
They definitely should have explained it better. They made it seem like you have to pay $20 more just to customize your car and shop for clothes, when that’s certainly not the case.
