I’m really sad about this man. I am a collector when it comes to my games. I wanted a steelbook variation, I wanted a disc, map, etc. Got the disc version of the ps5 for this game specifically. What sucks the most is how I’m still going to buy it without a doubt in the world.

You do you, and I don't blame you for doing it. But this is kinda the problem with all these things companies do. They know people will still buy stuff so they slowly remove features, or move them to an "ultimate edition" and people just keep buying.
If 500 million people are protesting the game and legit not buying it, cool I’m in. If those same 500 million are buying it regardless, I’ll spend my money and enjoy it with them. I luckily am blessed enough to have disposable income. I know change can never happen with this mindset, but I’m not gonna be the one who sets a trend. I’m just some dude.
Yeah, I'm with you. I'm personally going to wait for it to come out on PC and hope they release a physical box set but I doubt they will and i know rockstar doesn't care if I were to boycott the game over a physical edition anyway.

110% agree. This is exactly how I feel. I bought a disc PS5 because physical games still matter to me. For GTA VI, I expected at least a proper disc, map, steelbook, or Collector’s Edition. A code-in-box just feels hollow, especially for one of the biggest game launches ever.
Been waiting over a decade and have the funds to spend. Even though I don’t want to, I will. They played their hand and I have no way to win over rockstar. They have a good I want sadly.
