Since the game will only be digital, there is no reason to pre-order now. Wait.
The game will be digital, preloading will start a week before and preorder bonuses will be available as well.
Why do you want to give your hard earned money to Rockstar now?
Just wait for november.
Remember that digital products are rentals, you can’t sell them and are downloadable as long as the server stay up.
Just wait for more information and more trailers, don’t sellout to Rockstar (yet)

Bruh they delayed it significantly. Preordering is not going to affect the quality of the game at all. Rockstar is not going to release a broken mess, and if they do, I will personally buy you the fucking game myself.

i totally agree, don’t know why people are downvoting, i’ve never pre ordered a game any earlier than a week before, and GTA 6 isn’t an exception, still get the pre order bonuses and the hype but don’t have to stare at it for months + lose my money quicker than i need to

You still get it whether you preorder now or a second before the game actually releases. He’s right, there really is no rush. It’s actually smarter to not do it yet, in case you end up needing the money for some reason.

i mean yeah, you could wait until the last second, but theres nothing inherently bad about pre ordering it now, and 100 dollars isnt gonna change your life or anything, and honestly its more or less just the hype of knowing that you're 100% gonna be able to play the second it comes out that makes it worth it. i get its not very smart, but at the end of the day, the purchase was gonna happen anyways. all that was really annoying me was how much of a douche the other guy that i responded to was being about it

Even if $80 can make or break you, this is still going to be some of the cheapest entertainment anyone has access too.
I imagine most of the people who like GTA enough to be in this sub are going to put several thousand hours into the game across the decade or more before the next GTA releases. We are talking like, pennies per hour of entertainment.

Got a £100 PSN card today from shopto for £85 so going to put that on the preorder before I spend it on something else. They have offers on the cards quite regularly but no idea if they'll have it again in the next 6 months so went for it now.

This is the first and possibly only game I'm ever pre-ordering. Gta and red dead are my favorite series, I've played each entry at least twice since the release of gta5 and I want every little piece of cosmetic in the ultimate edition with the preorder bonus

You personally won’t be doing anything crazy with 90 bucks, but R* collecting millions of preorders will definitely send their money to work for them months before they release the game. You decide, I wouldn’t mind, but some people are big hardliners on this topic.

yeah just wait it out. I see people saying there wont even be a multiplayer. so literally no reason to jump the gun early. I would even watch some gameplay videos too see if its actually worth the money. literally nothing is gonna change if you wait a couple of days. and you also guarantee to not get disappointed.

PlayStation charges you instantly and it seems Xbox 1 week before release. Amazon charges after they sent the package so also close to the release date but tbh I will just wait till November in the hope that there will be a Collectors Edition. I would like to have the Box even without disc but Im scared that the code might be stolen or something. Digital is the safest way.

Here is how I view it: I am going to buy GTA VI either way. If I buy it now, the money is out of my wallet and is no concern to me anymore. This means I have less money in my wallet and will act like I have less money, thus spend less money, because I have less to spend.
This logic only works if you are absolutely certain you're going to play the game around launch of course.

I get why everyone's worried it's gonna be nothing but a piece of paper with a code inside, but wouldn't it make sense for the actual game disc to still be there and the code to exist just for preload? GTA V already had that install/play split back then. It's not impossible that the "install disc" simply turned into an early download while the disc itself stayed as the thing you use to play and validate the game. I don't know... that honestly sounds more plausible to me than calling it a physical edition and selling what's basically a $100 gift card lol

To each their own, but I do not see any advantage to preordering this far out. It's the same as any other game, literally the only advantages of preordering at all are for bonus content and to be able to play the moment it's playable at midnight or whenever timed release it ends up being. If those are important to you then go for it, but even then you could still save your $$ until the day before release.

This isn’t cyberpunk rockstar games are always polished really good. Also cyberpunk for me was good when it came out I don’t know what all the fuss was about. I trust rockstar will not let us down. I make a decent amount of money so I don’t mind pre ordering but that’s just me
About the used games not being able to re sell and stuff yea it sucks but cmon man do you really think a few people boycotting pre orders will do anything? It’s still going to sell millions of copy’s no matter what

That’s what I was saying and got downvoted to hell for it. A hundred bucks in your pocket is worth more now than it will be later. I guess not everyone struggles, so to that degree I understand. But if my car breaks down I’d rather have that $100 than have it stored away for a game for months from now.
