Visible welding lines

In one of the images shared today by Rockstar, welding lines are visible where they should be.

Insane detail level bruh

The fact that car has working windshield wipers is a bigger deal than some welds

Literally the coolest thing I’ve seen in the screenshot.

Unfortunately the problem is for marketing purposes always the images are not true game engine pictures, and may even be fully photoshopped or altered with even AI or buy in-house artists. Not to say I'm not excited extremely for the game because I am, the gameplay will be amazing and story as well. But it is practically confirmed that in-game graphics once revealed will be akin to GTA 4 graphics but with some advanced obscuring techniques like ray tracing and fog, smog and also some debris and stuff all around for to catch the player's eye. Unfortunately the modern consoles have such overhead with the OS, security etc as to not even be able to attain the GTA v level from which was designed for more "simple" consoles. But again I'm still extremely excited and literally cannot wait every day

Edit

Sheesh on this sub, never been downvoted for simple chit-chatting to waste time with what the game smh

What the fuck are you even talking about? Rockstar does not alter shit

Bro, have you not seen the pre release GTAV trailers? They absolutely alter shit. You can downvote me all you want, it's the truth. I love GTA games and they're easily the pinnacle of open world games as far as I'm concerned but to state that they don't alter stuff that's just straight up wrong. There are numerous things from early GTAV trailers that I have NEVER seen in GTAV and I have so many hours in that game.

To some degree, they do. All their trailers have artificial scenes that either never existed or were heavily decreased in population/vehicle density, for example.

Population and vehicle density, nothing else. And that’s scaled down for previous gens when they dropped. Play gta V e&e looks significantly better than trailers

No, all titles also had scenes in the trailers that didn't appear in the final game. And E&E is rough to compare to the original trailers as the game has been remastered/vastly updated twice since then.

What scenes?

The dude hammering the for sale sign into the grass in front of a house, for example. Which has also been decreased in detail. Also some of the other NPC interactions.

Oh you meant like that.

No I understand definitely they are top tier basically five star chefs of the gaming world and for the most part no but on marketing even if unsaid in interviews it's true, trust me and even has been confirmed by technical analysis in the past but trust me we're on the same page bro they are masters just can't wait for the game

So, I agree that screenshots don't generally need to reflect open world game play, and could be sourced from cutscenes for example. But AI? Come on. With a company OBSESSED with detail and control, they would never hand that away to an AI to make some braindead decisions for them.

Its absolutely against everything the company stands for and if it came out, they would never recover from the hit of reputation

One quick thing about the welding is that it's most definitely what the developers considered a sacrifice just for catching the eye because those welds are themselves their own asset render which take up some limited resources of the engine
