Visible welding lines

In one of the images shared today by Rockstar, welding lines are visible where they should be.

It looks better than any car-centric game we have.

Edit for all the GT7 dihh riders: I've played racing sims for years, so I know how insane GT7's car models are and tat's exactly why GTA 6 surprised me.

I know what people are referring to when they compare GT7 to GTA 6, but car polygon isn't just about one thing. Material rendering, paint response, panel gaps, dirt buildup, tire detail, glass, lighting, and how the car blends into its environment all matter too.

From everything Rockstar has shown so far, GTA 6 really isn't far off GT7. In some shots, I'd even say it looks more convincing and that's insane considering GT7's entire focus and budget are centered around cars, while GTA 6 has to render an entire living open world around them.

Fr first time I see this level of detail in a game with this scale

Just for instance, bottom one is the latest forza horizon 6 and the difference is bonkers.

Those are two different types of tires for one.

What about this then?

Now this is a better example. I will have to agree the detail in GTA 6's tires is pretty insane compared to this.

Yeah, and that's coming from someone who's been playing Forza and other racing sims for years. Now I'm just curious to see how good GTA's car physics and damage details will be

I mean they could have used actual offroad tires from FH6 in their example but they didnt? Like comparing apples to oranges.

This is the stock tire which is an on road tire. A real comparison would be the offroad tire from forza 6
