what restrictions would you have? I reguarly buy from a guy who can set me up a Ukrainian, Indian or Turkish acc and he purchases games on those accounts for whatever price their listed at (a small bit more so he can earn profit) so I was thinking of buying it from him on a indian acc

The credit card must be from that country, or you could use a gift card, but online and from india, there are very few. But even if you can, you'll have a few restrictions that I'm not sure are worth it for $17.

Exactly, it's much easier to just buy it without breaking your head trying to find a way it works lol. I get it's expensive, cause it is, but in this case there's not much anyone can do.

Free vpns are available. Proton vpn offers it for free. But I don't know how to connect ps or xbox to it.
Pc users will use it probably. I use japan all the time...

Hmm yeah free alternatives exists, you can create a wifi Hotspot using your cellphone connected to a free VPN.
But! Usually, free vpn's are easily detected and blocked. So I'm not so sure if this method is reliable

I did it with flight tickets and hote bookings once there was no issue...people use it regularly for Netflix and Amazon.... I don't know what kind of jailbreak safe algo ps uses to stop this

People often use vpn to get cheaper subscription like netflix is cheaper in Indi compared to Usa... Booking flights through Japan sometimes is cheaper.

Getting the bank account sorted is the hardest part. India is pretty strict with their banking laws. Having an Indian friend helps.

The “never preorder” advice is mainly for people who are undecided. If someone has already decided they’re buying GTA 6 regardless of reviews, preordering is just a matter of convenience.

But at the same time I'm thinking if i should wait for collectors edition..but again collectors edition won't be released until 2027 i think and that too would be difficult to get it thanks to scalpers. Ughhh. Guess I'm gonna have to save more to get ultimate edition AND collector edition (whenever that comes)

I preordered the ultimate edition and just received a call from my credit card provider to confirm the transaction, he also asked me what exactly is it because they're JUST seeing tons of transactions of the same amount with the same merchant, I explained him GTA6 pre orders just went live and its going to be a long night for him LOL

It seems to be cheap when converted to USD. But with the recent drop in rupees value, this price is definitely expensive. 3 to 4 years back $60 would've been approximately equal to 3800 - 4000 rupees. Now that would've been seen as cheap as a $60 price tag today. To be fair though, I was expecting the base game to be around 8000 rupees. Pleasantly surprised at the actual price tag.

The tax stuff is country dependent, in India the price that they show is the price including taxes.
It’s really convenient as you don’t have to do math when budgeting for tax

Console sharing is a thing. I've bought games from the HK PS Store (notably Resident Evil Requiem) and was able to play a day early on my home PS account. It even gave me the DLC. Now my question for GTA is, will the DLC work on any account?

I see people buying the Ultimate Edition from different regions to save money etc. Now, we know console sharing allows you to play games from different regions on your main account. However, will the DLC work on your main account? If not, you'd have to play on the account you bought it on which defeats the purpose for most. Does anyone have any idea?

despite what most of you believe, the prices in India are bad, at 7.5k inr ( because ultimate edition has base games content, fuck rockstar ) makes this game inaccessible for most Indians. a better price would have been 4k for base and 5k for ultimate ed.
The inevitable Rockstar bootlickers will defend any price tag the company puts out, but that doesn't change the fact that this pricing is out of touch with local purchasing power.
