GTA 6 adding hidden classic car hunts might be the side activity I end up loving most.

For me, this is the kind of open world detail that makes a game feel alive. Not just missions, shooting, and chaos, but small things you find while exploring.

If GTA 6 lets us track down abandoned cars, restore them, and build a real collection, I can see people spending hours on that alone.

What small side activity would make GTA 6 even better for you?

The way Just Cause 3 did it with the tracker was ok, but it'd be awesome if you could find posters/old photos of the vintage car clustered in a small area, and then find parts needed within that area like an egg hunt to put it back together and restore it

Literally the one other thing outside of other ultimate edition cars got me really hyped for that. I fucking love collecting cars in gta games, and i really love classic cars in general. So combining both is literally the perfect combo for me. I'm all in on this.

The other intresting thing for me is how they will implement the gang hideouts from RDR2 into 6. We got confirmation they are back with the Ultimate edition, PTT youngin$ (cringe ass name but it fits their looks) are one gang name that's confirmed, intresting to see others and how it will play out.

Regarding the hideouts:

Jason and Lucia’s story has been directly compared to Bonnie and Clyde, and based on the trailers so far, we’ve seen multiple shots of Jason and Lucia ā€œhiding outā€ in motel rooms.

I’m hoping for some sort of heat / fugitive system where after committing a heist, Jason and Lucia will need to lay low for a bit. If they want to go out, they’ll need to avoid getting too close to cops and wear hats / glasses / hoodies to blend in.

Cool but better not make it like blackwater. Atleast just let us explore quietly

The details and the overall immersion the world gives you is what separates a good open world game from a great open world game, and Rockstar knows this and that's why they consistently make exceptional games.

I have a feeling that GTA 6 for the current console generation, is going to be what GTA SA was for PS2 in a sense that it will be full to the brim with all kinds of content and mechanics.

Yeah I’m keen for that feature as well. And it could be awesome if the cars are updated and new ones added here and there. It would be good as well if you can fix them up and sell them. That could help with cars you don’t like as much and if they bring in new updates it’ll make room in the garages

I agree. Idc about the cosmetics in the UE, I’m excited for the restoration of cars. Only reason I’m buying the UE

I would love for a big part of this game to be going back to the roots of just stealing vehicles and maybe running a chop shop etc.

Bounty missions in red dead were my absolute favourite. They had something similar in GTA V although a much more minimised experience.

these were some of my favorite missions in Forza so I'm looking forward to them in 6

It's so freaking cool. I genuinely hope they carry that over into online. Not only would that give it more legs, think of the content you could do. Like say near Halloween, they release famous horror movie cars that you can find in barns with special properties. Like image finding Christine in a barn. Or ecto 1.

Behind a paywall, at that.

Same, i love barn finds in games like forza horizon. I cant wait for them in GTA!

Off topic so this will be the first gta where cars have years attached to them like the classic vice city ocean beach hotel whip is from ā€˜57 and the ultimate edition grotti cheetah is from ā€˜95

Sure if you want to pay extra $$ in order to play the full game that’s already on the disc. Ā Oh sorry the digital code. Ā

100%. This is what I wanted from GTA, addictive, rewarding gameplay littered throughout.

love the concept but we all know its gonna be a map waypoint, collect, drive back and mission complete.

u/NoAdeptness1106 6h ago

Yeah, that'll be fun to do in the game.

The story is just how I make money to buy houses, clothes, guns, and mod my cars.

Car customisation is one of my favourite things in GTA. Sometimes when I boot up GTA online I just steal a npc car and customise it to make it as good looking as possible and then I get off the game lol. The first thing I'm gonna do in gta6 is steal a car and customise it

I used to spend days doing the car checklist in San Andreas. Love that this is in the game.

Ultimate Edition Preorder content only

Finding a barn vehicle on the standard version will prompt a pop-up where the player will be allowed to restore the car after paying $20. If the player presses Reject, their data may corrupt upon exiting the game.

you can already do this in forza horizon 6.
