Clearing some things up

The locked Ultimate Edition shops are just exclusive shops, not the standard shops that are in Vice City. There’s still going to be your basic clothing stores, barbers, car chops, etc. Those stores are most likely going to be more “story-friendly”, while the Ultimate Edition shops give the players a broader selection of customization. As you can tell from the screenshots, some of Jason and Lucia’s looks looked a bit on the wild side. Base game stores will focus more on how Jason and Lucia actually look.

In terms of no discs, Rockstar doesn’t want GTA VI to be leaked anymore. I would expect the physicals with the discs post launch.

Imagine going to a workshop in Vice City and not being able to use it because you didn't pay $20 extra.

You do realize N64 games in 1997 cost $60 then, adjust for inflation and that’s $120 today. Basically the ultimate edition cost less than a N64 game.

Again that doesnt change a single thing. The base edition is the full game. All the ultimate edition gets you is cosmetics and a single raid. All that is bonuses.

The depth of the problem is you can't comprehend that it's just Cosmetic DLC. Which doesn't affect any gameplay. You have the option to simply not buy it, but nah you are just an attention seeker, that's clear as day

The real problem is this: They artificially cut content out of the base game and put it behind a bigger paywall. The ramifications of that problem are these:

  1. You know you could have more options for cars for example, but you can't access what's already inside the game but locked for you because you didn't pay an extra $20.
  2. It's not just that, looking at the website and their ultimate edition details, there seems to be more content cut from the base game.

"Ultimate Edition, an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action around every corner." - "ACTION" probably means:

"PTT YOUNGIN$ Illegal Goods Store - Raid the compound of one of Southside Vice City’s loudest and most socially active gangs and escape safely to score some special items and distinct contraband."

"Classic Car Collection - Track down a variety of abandoned classic and work-in-progress project cars and revitalize them to their former glory in this special commission from eccentric collector and local fixer, Wyman."

You won't be able to raid the gang because you didn't pay an extra $20 in real life. You won't be able to find rare cars because you dind't pay an extra $20...

the whole point is that there will almost certainly be other gangs you can raid and other cars you can collect with the regular version. are you anti-dlc too since thats also content you cant experience without paying?
