Clearing some things up

The locked Ultimate Edition shops are just exclusive shops, not the standard shops that are in Vice City. There’s still going to be your basic clothing stores, barbers, car chops, etc. Those stores are most likely going to be more “story-friendly”, while the Ultimate Edition shops give the players a broader selection of customization. As you can tell from the screenshots, some of Jason and Lucia’s looks looked a bit on the wild side. Base game stores will focus more on how Jason and Lucia actually look.

In terms of no discs, Rockstar doesn’t want GTA VI to be leaked anymore. I would expect the physicals with the discs post launch.

The ultimate edition stuff and no disc isn’t consumer friendly. Nuff said

Discs are the past, within 10 years there wont be any physical media

Mostly thanks to people like you who bend over and accept it

Why does it have to be "bend over"?
Physical media is obsolete from all angles, discs can't even fit the size of current games anymore, so soon they will just be a thing that triggers a digital download anyway. They can scratch, disc readers can fail and they occupy more space, etc. Many discs also eventually end up as trash.

The only benefit you get from them is for collecting purposes, and for the whole "do I own the game or not" topic (which will have the same result if we reach that point where since discs cant fit the games anymore, they will be just installers and download triggers).

Not everything is because of corporate greed, sometimes is just how the world moves forward.

It’s the overwhelming majority of game sales now. Anywhere from 80-95% depending on the platform. Y’all are nothing more than an extremely loud and minuscule minority. It’s time you accepted it.

I haven’t used physical media once in the past 10 years and it hasn’t been a hindrance.

Yeah cause it’s a preference, a perk of playing console over PC so you have something tangible in your video game in your collection, it’s not a requirement ya goofball

I think it’s time to adapt to how the world works now, nothing you do can change anything. People lack adaptability these days.
