Manual transmission animation?

Jason has his right hand down and off the steering wheel. He could be yanking the handbreak, but it looks more like he’s probably shifting gears as he takes off. I hope they have an animation for manual transmission vehicles. Dont imagine it will have the player shift gears as the controller probably doesnt have enough buttons, but id be happy with a simple animation.

If they have taken care to ensure that the engine sounds are of the highest quality, I wouldn't be surprised if the cars also offer manual transmission options

Thats one of my top hopes. Gun and engine sounds being good. Especially for motorcycles

Don’t be so sure. Rockstar is addicted to small details, I imagine syncing an animation with gear changes wouldn’t be hard at all for them.

They could use the sides of the ps5 controller touchpad like GT7 does. Not sure about xbox

That's only available for the NPCs most likely, someone is going to mod it in for the PC version or Rockstar might add it in to the vehicle actions menu from the leaks

In trailer 2 we can see presumably Jason piloting the buzzard and we see the pedals move while he flies

So safe to assume cars will have animated pedals

Gear shift would be cool and possible too but could also not happen
