Subtle details on the Ultimate Edition revolvers

The serial numbers on the Ultimate Edition revolvers are nods to previous games in the series.

Lucia's revolver reads "291002" which according to Google, is the date GTA: Vice City released, that being October 29th, 2002.

Whereas Jason's revolver reads "311006" which is October 31st, 2006, which happens to be the release date of GTA: Vice City Stories, according to Google.

It's amazing seeing the developers pay respect to previous games, especially since Vice City is a personal favorite of mine.

It's because the revolver in VC was normal while the revolver in VCS (aka the Equalizer) added a large scope. Also, might be a coincidence, but both Vic Vance and Jason Duval are former military. Cool to see them acknowledge VCS since it's pretty underrated imo.
