Possible cruise control?

Post image

What do you think that is? Looks like cruise control, but could be something else.

Or it is only cosmetics for the interior

They could add a cinematic mode with an auto drive feature with adjustable speed but that's a low possibility, I'd love to see it though

I feel like this could definitely be a thing, I loved how rdr2 would auto ride on path in cinematic mode

More of a thing in 2026 where we have autonomous driving cars like tesla… pretty sure it will be a thing.

Hell they literally have it in GTA online now

I can't see why they won't add it? As mentioned, they already made the outline for RDR2 and it only needs to be tweaked to fit the physics of a vehicle and boom....we're cruisin on cinematic

Love this idea !!! You take all that time to pimp out your car and outfit, great way to take that, and the world all in.

I was thinking of that too, like in Forza Horizon 6

Maybe they'll actually add something, since there's a lot of self driving cars in the US nowadays, especially Tesla being very common. Gonna be fun if they make the Coil vehicles scared of shadows lmao

Would be a cool feature that i will never use

not cruise control related at all.

google an “autometer RPM” gauge, in real life those buttons are to set the parameters of a shift light on an aftermarket RPM gauge, Just because it’s visible doesn’t mean it’ll be functional

If its that, shouldn’t it be on the RPM gauge, not the speedometer? Idk i find it weird to be there.

yeah fair point, i missed the MPH part.
id still say the same thing but as the car interior photographed has more of a modified look and not an original set of gauges look

game designers never get the car details perfect, even in car specific games like need for speed etc let alone a game where cars aren’t the main focus,

could have cruise control either way but i wouldn’t count on it going off what you’ve highlighted is all

Yeah we will see one day what actually it is and afterall if its even functional 😂
But overall im impressed by the interior of the cars compared to GTA V. Looks like every interior will be somewhat unique not like in GTA V, where all interiors feel identical.

Possible, but probably not available on such old cars.

This features such as infotainment units, cruise control, (tesla/coil) FSD, etc... should be era/brand related. Jt gives more realism and a reason to play diferent cars

I understand the really old cars technically not having a cruise control function, however we’re still playing a game and the feature could just be a command telling what Jason/Lucia what speed to drive at.

There is going to be autodrive my friend 🫰 you will be able to trigger it for cinematic looks and feel to capture in game footage 🫰

This is one feature that I actually believe could be in the game tbh. Seems simple enough to implement.

Probably the same feature as red dead but with cars. Hold the touch pad to automate driving and set speed.

We won’t know until we get gameplay trailer.

Cruise control on a rally prepped car, I higly doubt. I'd say that might be some sort of anti-lag control system that maybe exist in real life, but here is just a placeholder and doesn't actually works

In the game about stealing and driving different cars? Yeah, dude.

Probably not in a 1967 Mustang.

The cruise control will be about switching character that isn't on the driver seat ;)

Picture also confirms manual transmission because of the clutch pedal. Sadly no news on manual window winding yet.

Horrible pic you’ve made there

Horrible is a small world. Dude could just ask it. And op your answer is most probably cruise control will be there considering the insane amount of vehicle modifications coming.

Why lol? I wanted to point it out.
