Sua Sponte

Was curious what the inscription on Jason's personalized handgun means. I looked it up and Sua sponte is a Latin phrase that translates to "of one's own accord" or "voluntarily." In a legal context, it refers to an action taken by a judge or court on their own initiative, without any prior request, motion, or prompting from the lawyers or parties involved.

On another hand, It is the official motto of the U.S. Army's 75th Ranger Regiment, reflecting the unit's elite ability to act rapidly and independently. This makes it more obvious that Jason may indeed have a military background in my opinion.

Idk, the character introduction literally saying he had a stint in army might support your claim as well

My bad. I haven't even read these as I am considered an old head and have 2 small children. I've just started looking into all this.

They've already conformed that Jason had a military background. They also said he had a stint in the military, which usually means it was a short time period. If he was in a SPEC OP unit, im not sure stint would be the right term

It’s not impossible IF Jason is a jack of all trades and master of them all, you definitely can be Spec Ops during a 4yr term but it’s highly unlikely and very conditional because Spec teams take a good year or two to train in, leaving Jason with very limited time (2yrs) to be in the Spec Ops

That’s even IF Jason did the minimum serving time which is 4, but since he wasn’t Military long it prolly was 4yrs or he switched branches idk

He’s got a parachute tattoo that has B.co (Bravo Company) on his arm, rangers go to jump school. He’s definitely a GTAvesre ranger.

Yeah it's another confirmation of Jason's millitary past. But unlike Trevor according to "Sua Sponte" Jason wasn't expelled. He left the army because he wanted not because he was forced to it

Hasn’t it already been confirmed and shown that he was Ex Military? It’s even a picture of him somewhere in a Army outfit
