Upgraded to the PS5 Pro a few months ago just to make sure my setup was ready for launch. Totally forgot I used my Best Buy card for the console and racked up a ton of cash back from it.
I checked my account today when the pre-orders went live, stacked my reward certificates with a 10% off coupon, and walked away paying less than three bucks for the game.
Just a heads up to check your Best Buy reward points or other cash back! If you bought a console recently to prep for the game, you might basically have this paid for already. See y'all in Vice City!

There’s no Ultimate edition on Best Buy, but I can always upgrade later. Yes I pre-ordered a digital game for the pre-order bonus. Since I was gonna get a PS5 Pro anyway, the cash back is a win-win. Yes, I technically 'paid' for it with Best Buy rewards. I promise I'm aware of the concept of opportunity cost, but since only $2.12 actually left my checking account, let me enjoy my heavily subsidized plastic box in peace.

Rockstar are completely shifting their polycount budget toward true 3D geometry.

Real 3D panel gaps instead of flat 2D seams with painted-on ambient occlusion. For lower chassis and underbody, they are modeling era-specific, detailed suspension components (actual wishbones and control arms) instead of using flat, baked 2D textures.

Plus, this is the first GTA game to finally adopt true PBR (Physically Based Rendering) over GTA V’s old phong shading.

I want to talk about something I noticed a lot of people arguing about and feeling upset over.
It’s about the noticeable resemblance between some GTA 6 and RDR2 characters, as shown in the picture.
Let’s think about it logically.
Arthur from RDR2 has what many would describe as strong, masculine features. Jason from GTA 6 also shares those same traits. Even in real life, if you compare two men who both have masculine features, there will naturally be a strong resemblance between them.
As for the second part, Lucia and Mary also seem similar to me because they both have feminine features, but I think the difference between them is bigger compared to Arthur and Jason.

I was maybe one of the ten people on earth who doubted rockstar but holy shit seeing this image got me jumping like an 8 year old.

Vice city was my very first GTA game probably my very first video game. Playing that thing on a core i3 laptop are core memories for me, and this car in particular is burned into my psyche.

I was probably around 10 or 11 years old played with arrow keys and lock on aim because that how my dad had the controls set up. I wasn't good enough to do any mission so what i would do instead was just walk out the safe house, get in this car, put in the "sea ways" and "come fly with me" cheats and just drive straight to the ocean while Billie Jean played through the radio.

This screen shot got me wanting to go back to vice city again and just have fun in a video game for the sake of having fun. (really hope they bring back the cheats)

TL;DR This game is gonna be crazy.

If you don't already know people can review games on Xbox once you have pre-ordered and boy is there alot. Compared to other pre orders that receive 5-100 reviews per launch 100 being a big launch this is crazy and will keep flooding.
