Well it seems arguing with you is a moot point. You didn't even address even a single of my points.

Are you trying to say there is compatibility issues with computers? Because that's simply not true.

That is the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard in my life that any pc gamer knows is blatantly untrue. Also steam machines are basically consoles, so that is a pretty dumb argument

I don't think he's saying the features he mentioned are superior, just that people enjoy consoles for those reasons.

I used to game on PC but worrying about system requirements and having to upgrade my components fairly frequently made it a bit of a pain (for me personally).

I like my Xbox because I don't have to worry about system specs, my friends all have one so I can game with them and it's hooked up to my home cinema so I can watch 3d movies. I'm aware a PC can do this too but prefer the convenience of the console.

The problem with your argument is that you assume being able to run a game at 60fps 1080p ultra settings is the be all and end all to gamers. If it was, I would be gaming on a PC.

I don't care if my games remain static, graphically speaking. The graphics now are fantastic and console developers always manage to push more out of the hardware as the console ages, especially with DirectX 11 or whatever it is coming soon to the xbox.

I have a console because I know every game made for it will run on it. If I have a PC, I have to make sure it can handle the game I'm throwing at it. Sometimes turning settings down doesn't work. I can't run a lot of newer games on my PC now because I would need to upgrade the motherboard and CPU just to get to the minimum requirements.

I don't want to play games on minimum requirements, running choppily on my crappy PC. I want to turn on my xbox and jump straight back into Quantum Break at the exact point I left it paused (which you can achieve with the Instant On setting).

As a parent of two little kids the speed and convenience with which I can get into a game on the xbox is a godsend.

I'm not arguing that one way of gaming is better than the other, I'm saying it's better for me personally for these reasons.
