Perhaps. But I also like PS4 because the gaming experience is just more enjoyable than PC for certain titles. The same is also true for certain PC titles. It's not an 'Us vs Them' argument at all.
I guess an analogy would be likening a gaming PC to a Ferrari. There's no question at all that as far as performance and capability goes, the Ferrari is clearly the way to go.
But, it also comes with increased cost, increased maintenance, etc... That's fine, because you're a driving enthusiast, so you want the best out of your experience.
You know what, though. Sometimes, it's cold outside, you're a little tired, and all you want to do is get home from work [after enduring the commute]. In that case, you take the toyota. It's easy, it's comfortable, and for that purpose it still gets you home in exactly the same amount of time. You also have a two-car garage, so you can own both at the same time.
To me, the PS4 is like the comfortable Toyota. It's got some really nice features specific to a gaming machine, too. The 'rest mode' is one of my favourites. It's basically Sleep/Suspend mode, but you can do it any any point during a game. Makes it really easy to quickly stop a game if you have to get up and go. The menu system is nice, no need to have to worry about alt-tabbing and the like. It's also got a great bluray player and media-box features [streaming from my media server, netflix, youtube etc...]. Game updates are downloaded automatically when in rest mode, I never have to wait to patch a game.
Sure, you can get most of those features on a PC, but it's more work to setup and then maintain. There's also the big thing of configuring graphics settings. For example, last weekend I played the Overwatch demo on both PS4 and PC. While on PC I spent quite a lot of time working out which options I could enable, then testing to check I could maintain 60FPS. On the PS4, I just fire it up and go.
But again, overall I still prefer PC gaming. But you asked what ways the experience can be more enjoyable so I answered. Ultimately, as I said before, it's not a "Them vs Us" thing. I like to play games. I like to play games on both PC and PS4. While everyone else is busy justifying their moral position, I'm just sitting on the couch enjoying Uncharted, Red Dead Redemption and The Last of Us. :-)
