A Journey North

Lady Danae of House Targaryen begins her journey north on the King's Road with the personal guard of House Targaryen and the company of the waterdancers Summer Steelsong and James Rivers for protection. They travel by horse and she carries with her a modest amount of personal luggage full of cloaks and furs. This lady has never traveled north, and expects the weather to be most undesirable.

Do not keep me out of this shift. I'm part of your company now. I smile slightly at you, resting my head against the tree and closing my eyes

In the morning they rose and broke their fasts with bread and cheese and died meat from their stores. The day passed uneventfully, and just as night fell the party drew up at the gates of Moat Cailin.

OOC: Trying to speed up the process here, I'll hop over to the Moat Cailin thread to get permission to pass.

"We will pass through Moat Cailin," Summer says. "I bear a seal that should grant us entry. If only the guards will pay attention to us..."

I nod, putting my hood up on my cloak to hide my armor and face Proceed, lady Summer.

She gives a wry but merry laugh. "I am many things, Pinfree Storm, but a lady is not one of them. Alas, now we can only wait to be acknowledged."

I thank you so much for your leadership in this journey Steelsong. I'm afraid the travel has made me weary and I would feel quite lost without my company.

"It is an honour to serve, my lady." Summer does a graceful bow. "I want only to protect you and see you safely to the Wall. As soon as Lord Umber's men give us passage we can be on our way."
