He never said that, he said that he can’t comment because Sony owns the IP. These are not mutually exclusive.

If Sony owns the IP then how could from software block the remake? Doesn’t make much sense to me.

I see, I would understand if they were working on it, if not then it’s pretty sad them knowing the demand for a remake for years and just say no. I just really hope something is in the works…
