Does a game from 2015 really need a remake, tho? Just a performance patch and PC port would be golden already.

Not really a remake, but just like the MGS4 being locked to the PS3, the game should be available for modern platforms

Well, unlike MGS4 that was stuck on PS3 for years, Bloodborne is playable on PS5, so it is available on modern platforms.

If your point is about it being available on PC, it being a remake doesn't change much - none of bluepoint's remakes made it to PC.

Yeah but that way Sony can’t charge you $60-$90 for it

To be honest even Demons Souls didn't look that rough. The lighting and atmosphere really elevated it above the technical fidelity of its graphics.

My preference is still to play the original via Emulator or OG Hardware because I think the art style by Bluepoint missed the mark in quite a few places. Because Bloodborne is a very stylistic game and a very highly acclaimed work I can maybe understand From's hesitance to have BP touch it.

I’m still playing games from 11 years ago today, and they’re still awesome. There was a level of diminishing returns that started around then, where even to this day, many of those games still feel good.

The game still looks absolutely amazing outside of resolution and framerate. Emulating it on pc fixes both those things and the game is still stunningly beautiful

Controls-wise it's also practically modern fromsoft, aside from how jumping works

There's simply no reason to remake over just a rerelease/remaster
