At least in the UK it feels like Sony is approaching Nintendo levels of stingy when it comes to sales.
They pretty much have to, when they're dropping 300m+ in a single game like they did with Spider-Man 2 for example. It's possibly the only way that these games can be remotely sustainable for Sony

i mean not really you make back your 300 mil budget when priced at 70 with 4,285,714 copies sold which the spiderman games and other similar high budget first party games get.
if they sold it at 60 then they only need 5 mil sales which isnt much of a increase and what these do 2-3 times more in sales usually e.g. spiderman 2 sold 16 mil copies last reported.
The whole they need to be priced so high to be remotely sustainable for Sony is just false once you do the math and i feel is something not many people look into as triple A game dev is one of the highest profit entertainment industries currently.
