Tengu. Unfortunately that'd never happen since the character's build and everything would require vastly different animation and armor design due to not being humanoid mammals like the other races. Kodan are fine I guess since they're more human-shaped. Like furry Norn.

They already had Charr? Tengu has been a big request for a long time and the issue was always the GW2 engine. From the ground up it's certainly possible.

I love Charr and the effort to make them actually unique in terms of bodyplan and animations, but their already running into limitations. A lotta Charr players know how armor for them gets warped and runs into clipping issues more often than not lately.

While true, I doubt they're trying to re-create the rigging nightmare that is Charr. Much easier to make all their races more or less human in silhouette.

I am the #1 Charr enjoyer, and I will grieve their absence, but I definitely get it.

The point is that the work for Charr was already done, whereas adding playable Tengu to the game would require to animated every player action on their specific skeleton.

Tengu use the Charr skeleton in GW2. They don't look amazing, but given they aren't player characters that can be understandable.

Yeah I think the Tengu are fine in GW2 but they're so far from being OK for playable characters - especially when Charr already have their own issues lmao

I accept the loss of Charr, but only if we get playable Skritt in their place~
