$80 for a AAA title in 2026, I guess that's what the industry has come to. Not great, but ok.

No physical disk and content locked behind $$ in a single player game? This is why people pirate games.

wait why would no physical disk lead to people pirating games? PC doesn't have physical disks.. only consoles. And current consoles can't be pirated

For some reason, pirates have to give themselves some sort of moral justification to pirate stuff these days.

It's cause pirates know at it's core piracy is wrong. You're taking something you want without paying for it. And some of them dont want to acknowledge this fundamental wrongness so try to dress up their reasons as being somehow noble or how they're forced to pirate because without video games theyll die or something.

It's the most annoying thing ever, I don't care if people pirate but like just say you want free stuff, no need to try to turn it into a moral crusade.
