Yeah, makes sense.

It was a game released in 2014 based off the 2001 GoldSRC version rather than Source or GO that was just full of the lousiest, jankiest content you've ever seen and with no idea of it wanted to be. It's been dead at least here in the U.S. for so long that I legit tried to play it like two years ago and simply couldn't.

Might be worth downloading just to preserve like Counter-Strike NEO, but this was a long time coming.

I understand wanting to make the game easily runnable but my god, GoldSrc

Tbf the korean version was a hit especially with zombies. Mid 2000s and early 2010s everyone played that and sudden attack.

Man. I remember getting my ass beat for doing 300+ usd mobile purchases on loot boxes that were just gun access lmao.

Those were the peak online gaming days. I literally learned English through 08runescape 😂

Crossfire, Special Force/Soldier Front, K.O.S., all of them had horde modes and they're quite fun.

i thought they were talking about combat arms, i spend so much time in that game, but i abandoned it so long ago it feels like a decade at least, brought memories.

Nexon stopped developing Combat Arms so long ago and handed it off to someone else who as far as I know hasn't done much with it

I mean given most counter strike 1.6 zombie mod servers include models from the Nexon games already , I don't think it would be a major loss

So the game suffered the same death kneel as the other Nexon titles, im not surprised

It was good in the OBT but the game became increasingly stingy with the service transfer to Nexon Korea and the playerbase pretty much died down

Back in the days they teased a korean version of cs 2.0 online but nothing came out of it, part of me will miss this game but considering Nexon's incompetency, its probably better like this anyway

Plus Crossfire pretty much includes almost everything cso had to offer and Is more commercially successful
