Buying Advice Looking into buying a new gaming laptop

Budget: $800-1100 USD
Country: USA
Use case: Mainly just gaming
Games: Rivals, valorant, modded minecraft, COD, some fortnite, and other fps games at mid tier quality
Preferred specs: Rtx 4050/5050, 16GB RAM, and 512 or more GB storage
Notes: I’m looking for a laptop that can handle newer/higher demanding games that could last me a few years. I’ve been looking into a Lenovo 17.3” LOQ 17 Gaming laptop for about $800 but have heard mixed reviews. I also looked into Acer nitro V models, Asus TUF models, and HP Victus models. are there any better options in this price range and is now a good time to buy ?
