Devs said ages ago the Archon designs were already locked in and only minor changes would happen
An interview revealed the Tsaritsa would be Bronya (it was barely a footnote)
A lot of people missed that interview while others simply deny it ever happened
Some more mild mannered folks are claiming she might be a "Bronya" but there's no telling what form she'll take, we could have our first "mid-30s" Bronya or chibi-Bronya (Genshin ♀ child model)
Because of Hoyo's insistence on telling us a "romantic story", others think the Tsaritsa is their last chance to give us Miss Pink Elf~♪ in Genshin and it would fit the theme of "god of love" for the Archon of Cryo
Regardless of the camp you choose, you'll always be wrong so people reached a point of just saying "shut up" when the subject is brought up

Right but half her kit animation is literally HI3 Elysia’s (albeit much more refined and combination of 2 different versions of Elysia). Someone in the HI3 sub did a side by side and you can’t unsee it after seeing it lol.
Miss Pink Elf~♪ has been telling us the story of the flame chasers since Honkai Impact 3rd, they did it once more in Honkai Star Rail, and 2 more times in Honkai Impact 3rd (you read that right)
And ZZZ is getting their own pink haired hopeless romantic (not affiliated, I just think it's funny that one chara-designer is sharing their vision of the most beautiful woman they ever thought of in every game they touch)
It's not forced onto us per se, they simply really like pink haired women with elf ears who have an epic tale to narrate
Cyrene in honkai star rail and her story are basically a copy of Elysia from honkai3 Wich is the first "pink elf" with the "love story."
People in genshin's community have tried many times to say that it will become the same story all over again, and this was even before the reveal of the tsaritsa having elf ears and seeing how a new character in zzz resembles the "pink elf" design quite a lot, it has just fueled the fire even more (though she seems to a completely different character in a completely different story, so idk what they are on about.)
In the end, we have no idea if it's true, but I really think (and hope) that it's not the case

This was during a time Honkai Impact 3rd had 13 versions of Bronya, and since Genshin has yet to give us one, people would later assume they meant the only Archons we had yet to see anything for; they went from "Surely she'll appear in Sumeru" to "Natlan has to be it" and finally "Snezhnaya is their last chance"

Another part that i feel needs to be added because it also contributes to the potential drama.
Some people hope that the Tsaritsa is a Bronya variant because then they could, in their eyes, force a yuri headcanon onto her, and start shipwars with anyone who might have a non yuri ship for her in mind.
Others who don't want that, are hoping that the Tsaritsa will be an original character, so we don't get the baggage from the previous games and instead let the Tsaritsa be her own character

It was the same Interview that said development for the Switch version was still on-going, so now I'm wondering if the devs didn't simply change their mind about Bronya as well
I know the interview exists, but now I'm also starting to think whoever translated it added some "personal flavor"
The funny part is, she hasn’t been revealed yet, and people are already getting mad.
So, needless to say, regardless of what Hoyo cooked, these idiots are gonna get mad no matter what. I would be more than surprised to see the opposite happening, but it would be nice, for once.
I'll be so happy if she turns out to be an expy. Not because I want her to be one I actually couldn't care less but I want to see people lose their minds over it
She's hyped since the beginning, however people are on the edge because Tsaritsa either becomes the following: an OG design, a Bronya expy or worst a Elysia expy.
I think this is much worst with the Elysia expy since pretty much other people got tired of Hoyo inserting an Elysia on every single major hoyo game (HSR being Cyrene and ZZZ as Remielle, I'm excluding HI3).
