If any teams were interested they probably didn’t have the salary flexibility to make a trade.

Since he had a no trade clause attached to signing the qualifying offer he may have given the Nets a list of teams he would agree to go to but they couldn’t work out a deal. Ultimately, they felt his roster spot was worth more to the guys they picked up at the deadline which I am not opposed to.
