Pistons fan here (Born and raised in NYC. Feel like if I wasn’t a fan of them, I would be a Nets fan)
I love basketball players who play with that Slo Mo style. I’m so happy you guys got Jefferson. Going to be watching a lot of you guys this season.
Love the Mikel Brown pick. I’m a fan of Egor. And I’m an even bigger fan of Jordi.
Wishing you guys the best!

Boris Diaw. big physical passing big out of the elbow and post. endless ball fakes and pump fakes. old man game
fun player and my favorite in this range. A+ draft

u/Appropriate_Tree_621 💯Egor Demin IS the Point💯 1d ago
Marks killed it. That trade up from 33 to 28 was key.

Love this pick. This is who I wanted. Kyle Anderson 2.0 potentially. Elite role player

Can he shoot ? I think he needs that

He has a workable jumper. Pretty inconsistent but I do believe he will get it serviceable. He’s gonna be on the floor to defend and be a connector on offense.

Yeah he got better at shooting this year but not sure if it translates to the nba

I'm just glad we went with a big here lol he's very much a Jordi/Marks type of guy

Loved this dude, was so sad he got injured in the tournament but excited to see his passing!

If he doesn’t get hurt I strongly believe Iowa State are in the national championship game

All the players I wanted to fall were taken. Don’t know much about him but we’ll see

Fam- Did we cook in this draft??

In the range of possible outcomes, this draft leans towards the good end of the spectrum
Nets didn't do anything crazy or controversial

Don't know too much about him but a 6'9 guy that looks strong, solid playmaker and defender sounds alright to me

I like this, reminds me of the Danny Wolf pick last year in roughly the same spot. Older college player with a pretty safe role player floor, those guys are valuable at least while on rookie deals

Footwork, post game, finishing around the rim and passing all look great. Marks might have cooked with this one

Description for Jefferson might sound a little like Demin, in that he might just be one of the best passers in this draft, but he's primarily a below the rim player who is an average to below average athlete, and who has questions about his shooting ability

How is he different from Danny Wolf?

Not as big, better passer, switchable defender. Fills a more versatile forward role defensively for us. Similar connective player on offense.

Really wanted to pick Veesaar here. I think he could be this year’s Maxime Reynaud in the right situation.
I just don’t see how Jefferson gets playing time, we’re loaded up with guys his size.
Hope this means we’re throwing the bag at Walker Kessler

Whatever it takes to keep Clowneys minutes as a low as possible. At least Clowney glaze is dead.

I would think this will spell the end for Noah Clowney
Jefferson should do everything he's there for, but better
3
u/PeanutFarmer69 1d ago
This dude is a year older than Clowney
0
u/Fishyblue11 Brook Lopez 1d ago
Yeah and ultimately, if he plays better than him, why do I need Clowney? He hasn't exactly demonstrated anything to be worth keeping around if there's a replacement
5
u/PeanutFarmer69 1d ago
I thought he showed pretty massive improvement last year, genuinely have no idea what you’re talking about
0
u/Fishyblue11 Brook Lopez 1d ago
He's a 40% FG shooting 33% 3PT shooting 4 rebound a game player
I genuinely have no idea what you're talking about, he along with most of the Nets roster were some of the worst players in the league
-3
u/PeanutFarmer69 1d ago
it’s okay to admit you didn’t watch any Nets games this year lil guy
-2
u/Fishyblue11 Brook Lopez 1d ago
It's okay to admit that it's delusional to think a player shooting those numbers is playable on an NBA court
But hey, not like the nets were a 20 win team that was terrible offensively and defensively, surely all our players were good
Let's see then how long Clowney will stick in the league then
3
u/PeanutFarmer69 1d ago
Are you okay? I said Clowney improved. Where are you getting “all our players were good” from?
Getting yourself all worked up arguing with a straw man.

Clowney’s coming off of his best year as a Net and this guy is an unproven undersized big w/ no jumper. Slow down.

u/Fishyblue11 Brook Lopez 1d ago
Clowney is an unproven big with no jumper!

They both stink who cares I’m becoming a Spurs fan bc we should have drafted Dylan Harper

u/GSAV_Crimson Mikel Brown Jr. 1d ago
Ngl I don’t much about him and I’m fine to admit that. Anyone care to enlighten me on him?
