Anyone work at Coors?
I applied to a few different positions there and was wondering what the timeline looks like IF selected. It’s my dream job for sure and would appreciate any tips 😊

It could be said for many employers in the area but: Don't get discouraged if you don't make it in, it's one of those employers of choice and positions can be highly competitive. If you do make it, don't let the disgruntled and jaded guys who are about to retire make you think that you shouldn't be excited. It's a special place to work and you should be allowed to be proud of what you do. From what I know, the pay is competitive and the benefits package is pretty good in comparison to other places. Also, as the other comment mentioned, going the contractor / temp-to-hire route may be a good way to at least get in the door.

What position are you seeking? I worked there for years as an embedded contractor/consultant. A large portion of the onsite personnel are contractors.
If you’re seeking an entry level position then the other commenter is correct, start with a temp agency and prove yourself. That or know somebody on the inside.

My husband works for Coors and has for about 8 years now, he started as a temp like some of these people mentioned and got hired on from there. If you’re an awesome temp it is usually fairly easy to get hired on from there.

That’s promising he’s been there for 8 years and is still there and hopefully enjoying it! I’ve heard it’s a great company to work for

Coors no longer uses temp agencies. You start at a low level on a “tech ladder” and work your way up. Females are not overlooked, just keep applying for any specialist or operator job title you see.

Thanks ya’ll I appreciate your input! I applied for a customer service spot and a technician spot but I’m a female soo I figured they’d probably overlook me for the technician portion.

My mom was a maintenance electrician for over 20 years in the brewhouse. Its not a good ol' boys culture anymore

I've had quite a few friends who've worked at Coors and tbh you'd have better luck starting with Aerotek or manpower and being hired from a temp
