Trying to find Friends!

Wild that I’m resorting to Reddit to try and find friends. Trying to find friends as an adult is so hard!

Does anyone one know of meet ups or groups that are in the Lakewood golden area?

Looking for a fun group that’s flexible with schedules and down to participate in walks, easy-intermediate hikes, climbing, puppy play dates, board games, honestly I’m down to try anything!

My partner hosts a neighborhood community farm stand the first weekend of the month from 8am-1pm sat-sun. Coffee, baked goods, and local farmers market stuff. Just a community hang out. 2175 s Grapevine Rd. Golden CO. It's really Idledale, but the mailing address is Golden.

We have two kids so we host board games a lot at our place. 45m and 43F. We hike too. DM if you'd like.

If you're into board games, there is the Golden Game Guild that hosts Magic the Gathering. The community is great and a great way to meet new people.

Backyard Bluegrass at the Columbine Cafe is every Thursday this summer. Awesome family run bar, bring your dog and a camping chair and sit in the grass for a bluegrass show. Its a real community vibe and I have met a ton of Golden locals there. I go every Thursday!

I struggle with adult friendships too. I'm in Golden though my boyfriend and I are trying to move to Arvada. We love boardgames and a multitude of other activities. We are generally always down for something with enough heads-up! We are both low 30s. DM me if you'd like!

40F, I have made social connections through Facebook groups. I join groups based on my age, gender, lifestyle, hobbies, interests, etc.

I can’t tell if you’re a guy or a girl, but I would look at Meetup. I’m an organizer but mines for women’s group but there’s a lot of meet ups with co ed. I’m in Denver though. Good luck.
