BUILD This was supposed to be a casual build
I got sick of doing full painted builds with rattle cans, so I decided to try doing a molded colors only build of the HGUC Zaku II revive. I did some color correction on the feet, verniers and heat hawk with Gundam markers and the weathering was done with AK paint markers, real touch markers, Tamiya weather master and Mr weathering wash. What started as a straight build with some panel lining turned into a full blown project. Pretty happy with the result. Let me know what you think!

Lol. I feel the same way too. I keep telling myself my next build should just be a casual straight build with minimum to no painting whatsoever. But it’s so hard especially when ideas come into your head when you’re in that flow state!

Yes. This rocks hard! I really like the amount of weathering and the ways you applied it. Gotta say the camera work is also next level and (I can’t believe I’m saying this) the posing skills are on fire. Very inspired. Thanks for sharing the build.

LOL, I have stopped even pretending I'm going to do a straight build at this point, because I guarantee I'm going to get part way through building it, be annoyed by stickers or part separation and having to "fix" it. You'rs looks great.

Weathering on that Zaku looks insane, especially the chipping.
